M8C–BITWIG
BRIDGE

The M8 tracker inside Bitwig.

A plugin that brings a Dirtywave M8 into Bitwig Studio: its screen, audio and MIDI in one device on your track, played with a gamepad. Built for our live sets with a DIY headless M8.

What it does

FEATURES

01

THE M8 SCREEN IN BITWIG

The M8 display is drawn live inside the plugin window, so a headless M8 needs no extra screen or app.

02

AUDIO ON THE TRACK

The M8 audio comes straight into the Bitwig track the plugin sits on, ready for effects, sends and recording.

03

MIDI BOTH WAYS

Sync, notes and control between Bitwig and the M8 in both directions.

04

GAMEPAD CONTROL

Play the M8 interface with an Xbox-style controller, so a headless unit feels like the real thing.

05

TUNABLE BUFFER

Set the buffer depth to trade latency for stability, with a live readout of buffer fill, underruns and recenters.
